# How can I use LinkedIn Impressions and Engagements in my reports?

This answer refers specifically to the special LinkedIn Account-based Impression and Engagement data that we pull from our LinkedIn Ads integration.&#x20;

Note that this datapoint is different than the overall number of impressions and engagements **by campaign**.

The **by campaign** datapoints reside under "Paid Ads metrics" in your report builder:

If I select Impressions from here, and I break the report down by Company Name, I will **not** see the number of impressions by company. Because this datapoint is a separate datapoint.

To see the number of impressions or engagements by company, first create a goal:

<div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/Fbo22zM0BLU5b558Dgit" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

<div align="right" data-full-width="false"><figure><img src="/files/EpCu8PsJMoQUjfMXuREs" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

Then, you can use it in reports:

**Number of impressions and engagements by company**

**Number of impressed accounts**

**Impression Influenced Opportunities**

This one is a different example. To measure influence, we need to use a defined property. LinkedIn Ads Engagements **should already exist** in the Channel property you have in your instance. If not, you can add it like this:

<figure><img src="/files/yXnf6Csw2KtHCca3A0EA" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Try not to create new defined properties as much as you can. Use and enrich existing ones instead.

You can use your defined property for attribution like this:

Note that there is a filter on Channel. Click on Channel > click Filter > and add it like below:&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/1dpe8bszLRtIESVfe4eH" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Using Uniform attribution with this filter ensures that the report shows us **the total number** of Opps created within **this month (the report date range)**, that had LinkedIn Ads touchpoints **any time** **before** the opportunity creation.
