### Recommended Additional Touchpoint Types

Touchpoint Types are used to define the different categories or methods by which an organization interacts with its users.

Examples include emails, phone calls, in-app messages, social media posts, and more. Defining these types helps to organize and track all communications in a consistent way across the system.

Properly set Touchpoint Types allow for more accurate analytics and a smoother customer journey, ensuring every mode of engagement is captured and actionable.

While the default list is comprehensive, additional touchpoint types can be added based on your data model and integrations.
