Building an Asset Defined Property

The Asset Defined property is to The Asset Type property what Unified Campaigns property is to the Unified Channel property. It is the perfect tool to use when you need to understand which exact assets are performing the best within a group of assets.

Let’s start with the asset type defined property that you already built.

1. Duplicate the Asset Type Property

   1. navigate to properties → click the three dots to the right → select “Duplicate”

2. Edit the Copied Asset property

   1. navigate to properties → click the three dots to the right → select “Edit”

3. Change all mapping types from “Value” to “Property”

4. Select the property name that matches the definition name used to create the mapping

   1. In the screenshot above, you would select the property “email_campaign_name” for your mapped value

5. Update all mapping to the new property mapped value that corresponds with their definition and select save.
