What you Need

Properties

Owner Name

This property contains the names of all owners from your CRM, organized by object type. Add any additional owner names that are relevant to your funnel stages or sales reps.

Building the Dashboard

Closed Won this year by Rep

Visualization Type: Bar Chart

Properties: Date, Owner Name

Goals / Data: Closed Won

Date Range: This Year

  1. Fill in the name, visualization type, and date range for the report as specified above

  2. Add your breakdowns - in this case we are using Date (with the Date Grouping set to Month) and the Owner Name property you just created above

  3. Add your data metrics - in this case we are only using Closed Won - Deal Amount (This can be replaced with the amount field you use for Closed Won)

Average Sales Cycle Length

Visualization Type: Bar Chart

Properties: (Your Amount Field)

Goals / Data: Closed Won

Date Range: Last 18 Months

  1. Fill in the name, visualization type, and date range for the report as specified above

  2. Add your breakdowns - in this case we are using the amount field related to your Closed Won funnel stage

    1. We are also going to group the ARR values together to show the difference in sales cycles for different sized deals

    2. These are the buckets that we are using but you can edit these to reflect your business model

  3. Add your data metrics - in this case we are using Closed Won - Time between date fields / Closed Won - Times done

    1. For your time between date fields you can use the fields that are relevant to your deals being created -> and the deal closing, below is a common example:

Open Pipeline by Rep

Visualization Type: Table

Properties: Owner Name

Goals / Data: Pipeline

Date Range: All Times

  1. Fill in the name, visualization type, and date range for the report as specified above

  2. Add Owner Name to your breakdown

  3. Add your data metrics - in this case we are using Closed Won - Times done and Closed Won - Deal Amount

    1. On each of these columns we are going to add a column level filter to ensure the deal has not closed

Open Pipeline Details

Visualization Type: Table

Properties: Owner Name, Deal Name, Deal Stage, Deal Source, Deal Createddate, Deal Close Date, SalesForce Days at "xyz" stage, Deal Id

Goals / Data: Pipeline

Date Range: All Times

  1. Fill in the name, visualization type, and date range for the report as specified above

  2. Add all of the properties listed above to your breakdown, note that these breakdowns may look different for your instance. Any deal properties that you think are relevant to a report looking at open pipeline can and should be added here - the ones listed above are a good baseline

  3. Add your data metrics - in this case we are using Closed Won - Times done and Closed Won - Deal Amount

    1. On each of these columns we are going to add a column level filter to ensure the deal has not closed just as we did for the previous report

Closed Lost by Rep

Visualization Type: Table

Properties: Owner Name

Goals / Data: Closed lost

Date Range: This Year

  1. Fill in the name, visualization type, and date range for the report as specified above

  2. Add Owner Name to your breakdown

  3. Add your data metrics - in this case we are using Closed Lost - Times done and Closed Lost - Deal Amount

Closed Lost Details

Visualization Type: Table

Properties: Owner Name, Deal Name, Deal Source, Deal Createddate, Deal Close Date, Salesforce Stage Before Closed Lost Custom, Salesforce Closed lost reason custom, Salesforce loss reason custom

Goals / Data: Closed lost

Date Range: This Year

  1. Fill in the name, visualization type, and date range for the report as specified above

  2. Add all of the properties listed above to your breakdowns - as mentioned previously these can and should be replaced with the respective properties that you use, the ones listed above are a good baseline

  3. Add your data metrics - in this case we are using Closed Lost - Times done and Closed Lost - Deal Amount

Closed Lost Reasons by Rep

Visualization Type: Table

Properties: Owner Name, Salesforce Closed lost Reason Custom

Goals / Data: Closed lost

Date Range: This Year

  1. Fill in the name, visualization type, and date range for the report as specified above

  2. Add all of the properties listed above to your breakdowns - as mentioned previously these can and should be replaced with the respective properties that you use, the ones listed above are a good baseline

  3. Add your data metrics - in this case we are using Closed Lost - Times done and Closed Lost - Deal Amount

Closed Lost Reasons Overall

Visualization Type: Table

Properties: Salesforce Closed lost Reason Custom

Goals / Data: Closed lost

Date Range: This Year

  1. Fill in the name, visualization type, and date range for the report as specified above

  2. Add Salesforce Closed Lost Reason Custom (Or whatever your loss reason property is) to your breakdown

  3. Add your data metrics - in this case we are using Closed Lost - Times done and Closed Lost - Deal Amount
